Corona: “Carlos Corberán transmits energy, hunger and enthusiasm”
Statementsby the Valencia CF sporting director at the presentation of Carlos Corberán asValencia CF coach
Although he joined Valencia CF on July 1st, 2019, it wasn't until this past Saturday night against Celta Vigo that Jason made his debut for the club, having gone out on loan last season at Getafe CF.
He replaced Gonçalo Guedes at halftime, occupying a spot on the right of the midfield and participating in Maxi Gómez' goal to take the score to 1-1.
Jason spoke to VCF Media after the 2-1 defeat at Balaidos, to give his thoughts on the result.
"It's a pity. We came here with a different mentality today, looking to take something away from here, but we leave emptyhanded," he said.
"I haven't seen the replay of the foul on Aspas, but I don't think that it was a free kick. I didn't see a foul from where I was, but due to these decisions that don't depend on us we leave here with no points."
Despite lamenting the loss, Jason is hoping to feature in a winning effort next weekend against Huesca.
"We will try to get back to winning ways, like last week. In the end, getting three points and topping the table helps you a lot. We're going to reset and focus on the next game."
